欧中非开发使用C语言增长快

The total number of developers using C# has increased forty percent during the last year in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) Evans Data’s new EMEA Development Survey shows. In 2006 the number of developers using C# any part of the time was 25.1%, and this year that number has risen to 34.9%. In addition, the percent of developers using C# more than half the time has also risen by forty percent from 9.4% to 13.2%.
“Microsoft was smart to have ECMA ratify C# early on, as that has helped the language find acceptance in Europe and consolidate its market share,” said John Andrews, CEO of Evans Data Corp. “In addition, .NET has made significant inroads in the region and, of course, C# is the language that best reflects the CLI which is at the heart of .NET.”
.NET was cited as the platform of choice for Web Services by just over half of the developers working on Web Services in the EMEA region, a slight increase from 2006.
The survey, released to subscribers last week, consists of in-depth interviews with active software developers in the region and has a margin of error of plus or minus 5%. Other findings include:
* Careless data validation is the leading cause of security vulnerabilities in the region, followed by buffer overflows
* Sixty-five percent of developers in EMEA either are using or are planning to use AJAX in their development efforts
* Forty percent report extending their data and business processes from legacy host systems to new applications
